Meet Dr. Sal Louis, DDS

Dr. Salwan (Sal) Louis is originally from Baghdad, Iraq. After completing his DDS in Iraq and due to the unfortunate situation he immigrated to San Diego, California. Having passed the necessary boards, he was accepted and completed the Advanced Placement program at New York University College of Dentistry. Here at NYU he further sharpened his dentistry, academically and clinically. He also was selected to participate the Program for Survivors of Torture, which partnered with Bellevue Hospital, providing free dentistry to refugees who had fled their countries. Dr Louis enjoys jogging with his dogs, spending time with his children and traveling.

Dr Lugo and Dr Louis met while in dental school at NYU, and were married right after graduation, they currently have three children and two dogs together.
